A Motley Clue Treasure Hunt is a customized, self-guided
adventure for your child and their friends! This hunt
is best suited for groups of 2 to 6 children, ages 9
- 12 !

How
the Treasure Hunt works:
- Pick up your Treasure Hunt package, or have it shipped directly
to your door.
- When ordering, tell us 6 safe and kid-accessible hiding
spots in your yard. The Treasure Map is customized to the
these spots, so when the children reveal a map location, such
as "Mist Marsh", it leads to a location in your
very own yard!
- Your only setup job will be to hide the bottles and key
in the pre-determined spots.
- Start the adventure by reading the introductory scroll
to the kids. It tells a tale of a powerful curse that has
enveloped the land. Rivers are dry, the sky is dark, and the
crops are dying. A sense of doom is all around!!
- The only way to save the kingdom is to unlock an ancient
hexed chest that contains a magical diamond that will dispel
the curse. Unfortunately, the key was hidden by a wizard long
ago.
- Using the 'Missing Wizard's Apprentice' poster, the children
must find lost diary pages (the hidden bottles), which lead
them on a trail of adventure, mystery and puzzles.
- Each bottle contains an ancient diary page leading to a
puzzle and a clue toward the location of the missing key!
After collecting all 5 clues, the location of the key is magically
revealed!

  After
a wild search, the kids rush back, brimming with excitement as
they return with the missing key. As imaginations run wild, the
birthday child is allowed to unlock the chest!
Slowly the lid creaks open, and a bountiful supply of Treasure
Loot is revealed for everyone, including the Magical Diamond
that dispels the curse and saves the kingdom!
This treasure hunt is an ideal activity for any child's birthday
party, as it promotes sharing and teamwork. The kids have a
super time, you get the credit and your child gets a party that
they will absolutely never forget!
*** One grown up is required
to facilitate the hunt and (if needed) work with the children
to read the clues and help solve the puzzles.
